General Terms & Conditions of Sale - FFP Canterbury Ltd

This is the general terms and conditions of sale where no specific contract exists, and may not cover all terms as outlined in your contract. If you wish to obtain a copy of your contract, please Contact us.

  1. Payment of all goods and services strictly by 20th of the month following the invoice date.

  2. You undertake to pay the account in full on or before the due date. In default of such prompt payment, you undertake to pay late payment fee of 2% per month on amount outstanding and to indemnify us and pay all costs and expenses on a solicitor/client basis if legal action is necessary; and or our credit collectors fees, which we may incur in recovering from you any overdue account.

  3. Ownership:
    Risk in any goods supplied by FFP Canterbury to you shall pass when such goods are delivered to you or into custody on your behalf. Ownership of the said goods remain the property of FFP Canterbury until such time as payment is made in full for the said goods.

  4. Warranty:
    FFP Canterbury warrants all new equipment manufactured by it against faulty workmanship or materials for 12 months and agrees to replace or repair the same at its cost.

    There is no warranty given by FFP Canterbury for products which have been repaired or altered by a third party without the express approval of FFP Canterbury

    No claim will be met for damages due to fair wear and tear, lack of servicing, dirt, non compliance and operating instructions, misuse, neglect or accident.

    This warranty will be effective only where the purchaser has complied with its payment obligations. To the fullest extent permitted by the law, this warranty shall be the Purchasers sole remedy against the Vendor.

  5. Limitation of Liability:
    FFP Canterbury shall have a maximum liability of the value of the contract being completed where a fixed price contract exists, or three (3) times the annual value of a testing and maintenance contract. Where neither exists, the liability shall be limited to the value of the current work being completed at the time.

  6. You have read and understood our Terms and Conditions of Sale and agree to abide by them.

  7. FFP Canterbury are a conscientious employer and ensure all work complies with our approved WSMP accredited health and safety policy. We undertake to comply with the workplace safety recommendations laid down by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment and the FFP Health and Safety Plan. If required to exceed these requirements and/or participate in lengthy site inductions, costs will be passed on.
